THIMBLEBERRIES SEW DAY!

First let me apologize for the picture, I took it between the desk and shelves for my stash, kinda squished in there...too lazy to go to the other room for a picture. Yes...too lazy....that is me.

This is out of "Pint Size Traditions II" by Lynette Jensen. I love this...I totally love it.....!!! This speaks me.

I know, all of you know that I have five sons, outdoors, fishing, camping, football, dirt....

yes...

all of that is NOT ME!!!!! Totally not me, but I did it...yep....I sure did...camping where there were no toilets or running water....yep....I did it.

The flowers, pink, frills, bows, jewelery, perfumes, clean hands.....that is me....

Are you shocked yet? Why the good Lord gave me all sons? A sissy mom like me. I am wondering that too but I would not have it any other way....

I am busy machine quilting this little piece and hopefully, will get it done tonight or tomorrow....

What a cute quilt. I think having boys is the best gift the Lord can give (well girls too :-)

So pretty! It's nice that you're doing something just for YOU (I'm assuming your sons won't appreciate this beauty).

It's nice to know that I'm not the only sissy girl in the boat fishing with the boys! The good thing is that I now have daughters-in-law and granddaughters to do girl stuff with.

I love it!! This must mean Spring is near!! With 5 boys that will mean some DIL's and maybe a granddaughter or two!! I have all girls and it is so fun to have our first grandchild a boy!!

I love your quilt and I so not know how you did it without daughters. Mine have been my salvation. I love my sons but my daughters understand me. Thanks for sharing I love seeing everyone's projects.

What a pretty, springy thing to see on a night when our rain is soon to turn to SNOW...again. *sigh*

Looks like you are ready for spring with this "pint size' quilt. Very pretty fabrics. I participated in the Thimbleberries Sew Day as well but didn't get quite as far along as finishing the whole top. There is always tomorrow. Visit my blog (I'm a new blogger, too) for a peak.

I love your tulip quilt! It's saying 'Spring' to me too. I had one daughter and she made me go wilderness camping in places without toilets, canoeing, hiking, skiing, and swimming, so don't think that you would have had an easier time if you had had a daughter! The only thing she didn't want to do was fishing. She hates to hurt things. Go figure.

having all those sons just makes you more feminine I bet.....I love girly stuff but I can camp with the best of em! I love the quilt, it looks like you......
